Mario Stadium is an interactive cardboard cutout soccer game that came from a Japanese magazine released in 1996.[1] Notably, Mario Stadium is heavily based on Yukio Sawada's Super Mario-kun, making it one of the very few pieces of official merchandise based on the Mario manga.
