The Gophers helped Cheatsy by stealing the crops and replacing them with [[Piranha Plant]]s. Once [[Mario]], [[Luigi]], and [[Yoshi]] discover the crops have been stolen in the following morning, Cheatsy and the Gophers use the Piranha Plants to attack Mario and the gang.
