Monty Mole: Difference between revisions

In the opening for ''[[Mario Power Tennis]]'', a Monty Mole can be seen by a [[Toad]], as the both of them notice [[Wario]] and [[Waluigi]] being chased by the [[police]]. Later in the opening, several more Monty Moles (along with other species) can be seen watching the tournament, as Wario, Waluigi and [[Bowser]] attempt to destroy the stadium. In the main game, Monty Moles exclusively appear in the [[Chain-Chomp Challenge]] minigame, where they man [[Cannon (Super Mario Sunshine)|cannon]]s identical to the ones from ''[[Super Mario Sunshine]]'' (with it likely also being a reference to their role in that game). However, the Monty Moles themselves use the revamped ''[[Super Mario World]]'' design seen in most previous [[Nintendo GameCube|GameCube]] games, rather than their design from ''Super Mario Sunshine''. The role that the Monty Moles have in the Chain-Chomp Challenge is to shoot tennis balls and [[Bob-omb]]s from their cannons at the players to hit back at the [[Chain Chomp]]s.

In ''[[Mario Tennis Aces]]'', Monty Moles make a minor appearance in the background of [[Bask Ruins]], where they can be seen jumping in and out of their holes.
