'''Cluckbooms''' (also called '''Bomb Chickens''' or '''Roosters''') are enemies appearing in ''[[Super Mario Galaxy]]'' and ''[[Super Mario Galaxy 2]]''. They are [[chicken]]s that lay [[egg]]s that will explode after a few seconds when layed. They are orange and black in appearance and have the ability of flight. The eggs look similar to [[Bugaboom]]'s [[bomb|explosive egg]]s. They are very hard to defeat, because they are incredibly high in the air. A well aimed [[Star Bit]] can, however, make it fall down and the player can then give it a good whack. If there is a [[Tweester]] nearby, the player can try to aim at the Cluckboom's head. They are only found in [[Dusty Dune Galaxy]] in the original game. ''Super Mario Galaxy 2'' had them in [[Slipsand Galaxy]].
