Monty Mole: Difference between revisions

Monty Mole makes an appearance in ''[[Mario Superstar Baseball]]'' as a playable character for the first time in the franchise. In Challenge mode, Monty Mole is a member of Mario's team (which is the [[Mario Sunshines]] by default). For the different modes in general, Monty Mole is one of the four characters required for the Mario Sunshines to be the name of Mario's team, the other three being [[Luigi]], at least one [[Pianta]], and at least one [[Noki]]. To unlock Monty Mole, the player has to clear Challenge mode with Mario's team on Mushroom difficulty.

Monty Mole has the [[Ball Dash]] ability, which allows them to run extremely fast while in possession of the baseball. Monty Mole is a speedy character with fast running, weak batting and pitching and average fielding. Monty Mole has good chemistry with [[Shy Guy]], [[Goomba]], and [[Paragoomba]], and doesn't have any bad chemistry with any character. Interestingly, Monty Mole's description in this game reveals that the holes they jump out of are actually their dens.

Aside from the playable Monty Mole, various Monty Moles are also among the species sitting in the crowd in [[Mario Stadium (baseball stadium)|Mario Stadium]].
