Monty Moles make their second playable appearance are a sidekick in ''[[Mario Strikers Charged]]''. Monty Moles are Power Players, which means they are good at shooting and tackling, but cannot pass very well. Monty Mole's [[Skillshot]] is [[Dirt Drill]], where they go underground with the ball and dig towards the goal, before then popping up near the [[Kritter|goalie]] and shoving them aside to kick the ball into the goal. However, if the move is too close, Kritter will shove his hand into the ground and pull Monty Mole out, thereby blocking the shot. If the move is too far away, Kritter will simply catch the ball. In this game, Monty Moles have headlights, something that is never seen in any other game they appear in. Monty Mole's prominent tooth also atypically appears as a pair of teeth (which also happened in other games like the ''Mario Baseball'' titles). Monty Moles are also shown to have black dot eyes when their shocked (though their shocked expression eyes would be redesigned in future games). Monty Moles also appear in the crowds in the opening, using their design from early [[Nintendo GameCube|GameCube]] games (making it the last appearance of said design).
