Rocky Wrenches would make their Mario Party series debut in Super Mario Party Jamboree, where they are now depicted with their current redesign from the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC. In this game, an enlarged Rocky Wrench named Mega Rocky Wrench appears as the third boss of the Party-Planner Trek campaign, appearing at the end of Rainbow Galleria and being fought in the boss minigame Mega Rocky Wrench Wreckers. During the boss minigame, four normal Rocky Wrenches will sometimes appear in the manholes to help aid Mega Rocky Wrench by throwing wrenches at the players, which need to be shot down in order to not get stunned.

In addition to their role in the boss minigame, both Mega Rocky Wrench and the standard Rocky Wrenches that aid them also appear on posters throughout the Rainbow Galleria board.
After the player has completed all of the necessary tasks for Rainbow Galleria, Mega Rocky Wrench suddenly appears out of nowhere to steal all of the Mini Stars the player had collected by sucking them into their vortex, leaving the player to fight Mega Rocky Wrench in their boss minigame Mega Rocky Wrench Wreckers in order to make them return the stolen Mini Stars. During the boss minigame, several normal Rocky Wrenches will help assist Mega Rocky Wrench during their fight, in which they appear in groups of four to hide in the various manholes around the airship to help distract the players from shooting Mega Rocky Wrench, as well as occasionally throwing four wrenches at each of the four players (which need to be shot down with the cannons in order to prevent from being hit, as otherwise the player will lose 3 points and get temporarily stunned if they get hit by one of the wrenches). As Mega Rocky Wrench becomes more angry after reaching half of their health, the groups of Rocky Wrenches will appear a lot more frequently to distract the players even further, making it harder to predict where Mega Rocky Wrench will appear next. After Mega Rocky Wrench is defeated, they will collapse back into their manhole before exploding, shaking the airship itself and causing all of their Rocky Wrench minions to be sent flying away. After their defeat, Mega Rocky Wrench begrudgingly returns the Mini Stars back to the player before closing their vortex and leaving (though the player can still rematch Mega Rocky Wrench anytime they want).
