Mega Rocky Wrench: Difference between revisions

During the boss minigame, Mega Rocky Wrench will continually pop in and out of the various manholes scattered throughout the bottom and middle rows of the [[Airship]], with the players needing to shoot them by using their cannons in order to damage the boss, which can be made harder due to how nimble Mega Rocky Wrench tends to be. Alongside Mega Rocky Wrench themself, groups of four standard Rocky Wrenches will also frequently appear in the various manholes to either help distract the players from shooting at Mega Rocky Wrench, or by throwing [[wrench]]es at the four players, which the players can only counter by either shooting the Rocky Wrench beforehand to stun them, or by shooting and destroying the wrenches before they get hit. If one of the players does get hit by one of the wrenches, they will lose 3 [[point]]s and be temporarily stunned. The cycle continues until Mega Rocky Wrench loses half of their health, in which they become enraged and calls upon several more Rocky Wrenches to help them. During the second phase of the fight, both Mega Rocky Wrench and their Rocky Wrench minions can appear in the manholes on the upper row of the Airship, making it harder to predict where Mega Rocky Wrench will appear next. The standard Rocky Wrenches will also appear more frequently during this phase, making it harder to focus on shooting Mega Rocky Wrench due to the many oncoming wrenches thrown by the other Rocky Wrenches that the players need to shoot down. Mega Rocky Wrench also gains a new attack in this phase, in which they will go to the top middle manhole and throw a massively sized wrench at the four players, which takes way more shots in order to be destroyed and will hit all four players if it is not shot down on time. The cycle continues up until Mega Rocky Wrench loses all of their health, in which they will collapse back into their manhole and explode, causing the Airship itself to shake and all of their Rocky Wrench minions to be sent flying away.

After being defeated, Mega Rocky Wrench begrudgingly returns the stolen Mini Stars back to the player before closing up their vortex and leaving. After beating Mega Rocky Wrench in the Party-Planner Trek campaign, the player will be rewarded with a topiary in their likeness, as well as being able to rematch them anytime they want by going up to a sign in Rainbow Galleria. Additionally, Mega Rocky Wrench, alongside all of the other bosses in the game, can be fought in the unlockable [[Boss Rush (Super Mario Party Jamboree)|Boss Rush]] mode found in [[Minigame Bay]], though their fight remains unchanged. Posters of Mega Rocky Wrench can also be found throughout Rainbow Galleria in both Mario Party mode and in the Party-Planner Trek campaign.
