In ''Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins'', Ragumo appear exclusively in the [[Tree Zone]]'s [[Tree Zone Area 1|first stage]] and can be found in low-lying areas, such as pits or ditches. When Mario encounters a Ragumo, they will dig up to the surface before popping out in an attempt to ambush Mario. Unlike their [[Monty Mole]]s however, Ragumo do not chase Mario annd anre significantly much slower, making them much more easier to deal with than their relatives. Mario can defeat a Ragumo by simply [[jump]]ing on them before or after they are out of the ground. [[Fireball]]s are also an effective way to defeat a Ragumo, though this only applies once the Ragumo is surfaced, as the fireballs will simply miss the Ragumo while they are still underground.
