'''Green Cheep Cheeps''' are green variants of [[Cheep Cheep]]s that appear mainly in ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' and ''[[Super Mario Bros. 3]]''. Unlike regular Cheep Cheeps, they swim slower, the jump out of water less, and have slightly different swimming patterns. They are similar to [[Deep Cheep]]s, but unlike them the Green Cheep Cheeps do not chase [[Mario]] and [[Luigi]].

Green Cheep Cheeps appear in ''[[Super Mario Maker]]'', ''[[Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS]]'', and ''[[Super Mario Maker 2]]'', using their sprite design from both ''Super Mario Bros.'' and ''Super Mario Bros. 3''. They can be used by shaking a regular Cheep Cheep. The ''[[Super Mario World]]'' and ''[[New Super Mario Bros. U]]'' styles replace Green Cheep Cheeps with [[Blurp]]s and [[Deep Cheep]]s respectively, although all variants are named Cheep Cheeps.
